RFID Readers

If some of your parkers (eg, staff, tenants, residents) are used to tapping an RFID card on an RFID card reader on entry/exit – and prefer not to have the security barriers automatically open for authorized license plates - KERB can integrate with different types of RFID readers. This gives your organization all the benefits of KERB’s digital solutions, while maintaining a physical entry/exit card.

How it works – in 5 simple steps:

1. KERB integrates with the the software behind the RFID card readers, via API.
2. The card readers are connected via ethernet to the KERB Box™, which provides a 3G/4G/5G wifi connection to the Internet.
3. KERB’s LPR cameras communicate a vehicle’s entry/exit time – and whether their license plate is white-listed - through the KERB Box™, to the RFID reader.
4. The driver taps their RFID card on the reader – then exits.
5. The parking session is logged in KERB’s Bays™ platform.
